Cathy S. Bowman, 70, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday morning, Sept. 19, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Cathy was born in Bluffton on Apr. 16, 1955, to Lester D. and Carolyn R. (Bennett) Kahn. Cathy graduated from Whitko Highschool in South Whitley with the class of 1973. She attended New Life Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. She enjoyed gardening, reading, going to the casino with her sister and aunt, but above all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Cathy is survived by three daughters, Suzanna (Linwood) Brady, Samantha (Jack) Kellogg, and Patty (Byron) Teeter, all of Fort Wayne; a brother, Larry Kahn of Huntington; two sisters, Diane Burroughs of Decatur and Michelle (Greg) Campbell of Albion; eight grandchildren, Sierra (Kirk), Daniel, Gage, Tabitha "Theo", Jesse, Osiris, Jacob, and Aurora; and two great grandchildren, Arabella and Asher.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Cary Kahn and a brother in-law, John Burroughs.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025, from 1:00 until 5:00 PM, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, followed immediately by a funeral service at 5:00 PM, with Pastor James Keller officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
