Caroline M. Lantz, age 95, of Bluffton, passed away Thursday evening, April 25, 2019, at Ossian Health and Rehabilitation.

Caroline was born on February 5, 1924, in Bluffton, to Henry and Mary (Reineck) Dotterer. She married Harry W. Lantz in Berne, on June 24, 1944; he preceded her in death on July 9, 2000.

Caroline graduated from P.A. Allen Bluffton High School in 1942. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church. Caroline cared for her family by serving as a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Alan (Yvonne) Lantz of Bluffton; a granddaughter, Amy M. (Keith) Jones of Bellevue, KY.; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Stucky; two brothers, Paul and Joe Dotterer.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 30, 2019, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial

Chapel in Bluffton. Services will immediately follow visitation on Tuesday at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Ron Kipfer will officiate. Burial will follow at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Heart to Heart Hospice of Fort Wayne or Ossian Health and Rehabilitation.
