Carol Sue Jenkins, 67, of Ossian, died at 7:53 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Ossian Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Detroit, Mich., on Jan. 10, 1945, to David and Pauline (Peters) Jenkins. She worked as a shipping supervisor for Mattel Corp. for 28 years. She also worked with Metro Bingo for 17 years, and as a bus driver for Fort Wayne Community Schools for seven years. When she was younger she was an avid softball player. She also really enjoyed playing bingo and being with her family and friends. She is survived by her special friend, Wanda Brock of Ossian, two nieces, one nephew, and several great-nieces an great-nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Sutherby, and a brother, Richard Homan. Calling hours will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 1, at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 2, at the funeral home with Pastor Tony Robles officiating. Burial is at Six Mile Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to the Wells County Food Bank.
