Obituary

Carl D. Booth, 94, of Warren, died Saturday evening, Nov. 7, 2015, at Heritage Pointe in Warren. He was born Feb. 9, 1921, in Noblesville to Raymond and Jessie (Manship) Booth. Carl served in the U.S. Army as a heavy equipment operator in northern France from January 1943 to November 1945. He retired in 1976 from Panhandle Eastern Pipeline, where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. Carl enjoyed reading, hunting and fishing. He loved to travel and enjoyed spending winters in Florida. He is survived by two daughters, Peggy (Bob) Bate and Pam (Robert) Tuttle, both of Bluffton; and three sons, Don (Cathy) Booth and Dave (Vikki) Booth, both of Bluffton, and Dick (Elaine) Booth of South Bend; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Frank Booth, Emery Booth and Joe Glenn Booth. Private family services will be held at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton.
