Brenda K. Sweetapple, age 57, of Huntington, passed away Sunday evening, Sept. 13, 2105, at Markle Health & Rehabilitation Center. Brenda was born on March 3, 1958, in Monroe, MI, to Donald O. and Beverly K. (Narvarre) Dines; her mother survives in Monroe, MI. Brenda married Barry E. Sweetapple on Sept. 21, 1985, in St. Petersburg, FL; he preceded her in death on May 13, 2006. She was a graduate of Monroe High School in Monroe, MI. Brenda is also survived by a daughter, Holly (fiancé Shane Richardson) of Rockford, IN; a step-son, Johnny Sweetapple of Fort Wayne; one grandson, two step-grandchildren, and two step great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, John Dines of Monroe, MI; and two sisters, Penny (Pat) Higgins and Vickie (Bruce) Jones, both of Monroe, MI. Aside from her father and husband, Brenda was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Anna Boschet. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015, at Life Community Church in Bluffton.
