Billy N. Neely, 68, of Bluffton, died Sunday, July 12, 2015, at his residence. He was born May 15, 1947, in Scottsburg to Harry E. and Lula F. Denny Neely. He married Carolyn M. Gerod May 16, 1977, in Werling, W.V.; she survives. Survivors include sons, Rick Neely of Bluffton and Harry Neely of Corona; a daughter, Lynda (John) Grover of Knoxville, Tenn.; a stepson, Dr. Robert (Laurie) Girod of Fort Wayne; a sister, Martha Rose Fender of Auburn; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lora Chester in 2011, and by a grandson. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 16, at the Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel with Pastor Chad Clark officiating.
