Betty J. Rhodes, 75, of Ossian, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016, at her residence.

Born in Fort Wayne on Oct. 7, 1940, to Cecil and Teresa (Boschet) Smith, Betty married Stephen A. Rhodes; he preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 2009.

Betty is survived by three daughters, Theresa (Douglas) Hoag of Ossian, Debra (Brian) Ruble of Bluffton, and Shelly (Kevin) Reinhard of Bluffton; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, with two great-grandchildren on the way.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Pat Harden and Cindy Stellhorn.

Private family services are being held.  Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
