Betty L. Marshall, 71, passed away Thursday evening, July 15, 2021, at Christian Care Retirement Community in Bluffton.

Betty was born in Hartford City, IN on June 15, 1950, to Donald H. and Hannah C. (Sills) Bockover, both parents preceded her in death. She married James Marshall on April 21, 2012 in Bluffton, he preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 2019.

She was a 1968 graduate of Blackford County High School. Betty worked for Bluffton Rubber Company for over 20 years, retiring in 2012. She was a former member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Bluffton. Betty enjoyed cooking for her family, sewing and fishing, and spending time with her cat "Penny".

Survivors include two daughters; Lynette (Bill Bower) Thiebaud and Dawn (Jay) Brickley, both of Bluffton, three step-daughters; Donna (Paul) Morgan of Liberty Center, IN, Shirley Guldice of Bluffton and Kathy (Gary) McDonald of Montpelier, IN, five grandchildren and 5 grt. grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by four brothers; Richard Beeson, Robert Beeson, Daniel Bockover and William Bockover.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2021, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM, with Tony Garton officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
