Berniece J. Troxel, 79, of Bluffton, died at 11:50 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at the Ossian Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Troxel had been employed as a secretary at Wells Community Hospital and had helped her husband, William, operate Troxel TV and Appliance for more than 30 years. She was a 1948 graduate of Lancaster High School and was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was born Sept. 28, 1930, in Wells County, to Elmer Moser and Bertha Isch Moser. She married William Troxel June 27, 1954, in Bluffton; her husband survives. Also surviving are a son, Terry (Lisa) Troxel of Bluffton; a daughter, Tammy (Tim) Jurju of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren, Trevor Troxel of Bluffton and Jamie Santee of Arizona; and a brother, Thomas (Janet) Moser of Bluffton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Moser. Calling will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. There will be additional calling from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Apostolic Christian Church East. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Apostolic Christian Church East with John Reinhard and Lynn Fiechter officiating. Burial will be at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
