Obituary

Benjamin J. Gardner, 25, of Keystone, passed away at 7 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2013 at his home. He was born in Bluffton on Nov. 5, 1987 to Dale J. and Brenda (Osborn) Gardner. A 2006 graduate of Bluffton High School, he has served in the U.S. Marine Corp since 2009, enjoyed cars and had furthered his education in performance motor sports. Survivors include his mother of Bluffton; a sister, Abby (Diego) Bolanos of Keystone; a brother, Lucas Gardner of Fort Wayne; grandparents Donald Gardner Sr. of Bluffton, Joan Sharpe of Keystone, Connie Mosure of Bluffton and Richard (Jean) Osborn of Bluffton; two nieces, Faith and Grace White and a nephew, Gabriel Bolanos, all of Keystone. He was preceded in death by his father. Calling hours are Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel, 3220 East SR 124, Bluffton. Services will be held there Friday at 11 a.m. with Dr. Bryson E. Bell officiating. The United States Marines will conduct military rites.
