Barry P. Kernstein, 73, of Bluffton, passed away Thursday evening, Apr. 19, 2018, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.

Barry was born in Lancaster, PA, on Nov. 11, 1944, to Charles and Anna (Black) Kernstein; both parents preceded him in death.

For many years, Barry worked at Franklin Electric in Bluffton.  He also held other various jobs, which included several years as a janitor at the Wells County Courthouse.

Survivors include two sons, Christopher (Alice) Kernstein of Decatur and Timothy (Julie) Kernstein of Tucson, AZ; along with two grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Kernstein.

A memorial service to celebrate Barry's life will be held at The Hideaway in Bluffton, on Saturday,  May 12, 2018 from noon until 2:00 P.M.
