Obituary

Barbra L. Lesh, 83, of Bluffton,died at 2 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at River Terrace Estates.Mrs. Lesh was a former librarian at the Wells County Publicibrary, and she taught reading at Lancaster Central Elementary School for 18 years. She loved music and was in several musicals. She played the organ at St. Paul Lutheran Church for approximately 50 years.She was a 1944 graduate of Rockcreek High School in Wells County and held a master's degree in library science from the University of Saint Francis. Mrs. Lesh was born Dec. 11, 1927, in Decatur, to Clayton Barrick and Mary Ellen Sutilef Barrick. She married Harold G. Lesh April 21, 1946, in Uniondale; her husband survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Nicki (Paul) Mills of Bluffton; three sons, Gary D. Lesh of Pleasant Lake,Ind., Neil K. (Cheryl) Lesh of South Bend, and Perry W. (Susan) Lesh of Berne; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beverly Sue Hunter of Bluffton. In celebration of Barbra's life, her family will receive friends Monday, May 9, 2011, from 2 to 5 p.m., at the chapel at River Terrace Estates. A private funeral service for the family is planned. Dr. Bryson E. Bell will officiate at the service. Burial will be at the St. Paul Cemetery in Wells County. Preferred memorials are to River Terrace Estates
