Barbara K. LaFevers, 62, of rural Keystone, passed away Wednesday evening, July 8, 2020, at her daughter's residence in Wells County.
Barbara was born on April 12, 1958, in Stanford, KY, to Walter and Martha (Begley) Humphrey. Her mother survives in Bluffton. After moving to Indiana she married Larry L. LaFevers on Jan. 15, 1974, and they started their family. Barbara worked at several places in Bluffton before becoming a stay-at-home mom and homemaker.
She leaves behind her husband, Larry, of Keystone; along with three daughters, Darniel Watkins of Florida, Keri (Jason Riesen) LaFevers of Vera Cruz, and Lori (Clayton Holcomb) LaFevers of Warren; two sons, Jason LaFevers of Keystone and Adam LaFevers of Texas; four brothers, Hargis Sizemore of Ossian, Mark (Marie) Humphrey of Bluffton, Kenny Humphrey of Bluffton, and Wayne Humphrey of Bluffton; a sister, Mary Lou (Bill) Conrad of Swayze; granddaughters, Kylie (Rob) Rolston, Tiffany Watkins, Stacia Harnish, Heather Watkins, Katie Downing, Jolie and Jasmine Gray, and Lena Holcomb; a grandson, Harley Holcomb; and two great-grandsons, Dominic and Nehemiah.
In addition to her father, Barbara was preceded in death by three brothers, Carlos, Charlie, and Jerry Humphrey; and three sisters, Janie Shepherd, Lena Humphrey, and Susie Shepherd.
Private family services are being held. Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
