Anna L. Isch, 100, of Bluffton, passed away Monday, July 29, 2013, at Christian Care Retirement Community. Anna was born Sept. 3, 1912, in Adams County to Jehu Gerber and Lydia Maller Gerber. She married Ervin L. Isch May 28, 1939, in Wells County; he preceded her in death April 14, 1998. She was a homemaker and a member of the Apostolic Christian Church. Survivors include three sons, Charles (Linda) Isch, Stanley (Genny) Isch and Barry (Imogene) Isch, all of Bluffton; a daughter-in-law Judy Isch of Berne; two brothers, Sylvan Gerber and Floyd Gerber, both of Bluffton; three sisters, Leona Schwartz, Alice Schwartz and Josephine Schwartz, all of Bluffton; 15 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Isch; brothers, Gaius, Alvin, Lloyd, Edwin, Edward and Truman Gerber; sisters, Helen Gerber, Minnie Aschliman, Sarah Kipfer, and Dorothy Gerber; and a great-grandson. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at the Apostolic Christian Church East with Mark Gerber and Ed Schwartz officiating. Calling hours are from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Adams County. Memorials can be made to Christian Care Retirement Community.
