Obituary

Amy Ann Ginger, 31, of Poneto, passed away Sept. 30, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born Dec. 21, 1981, in Oklahoma City, to Lyle F. Brinneman and Betty Ann Thompson; her father survives in Iowa. She married Billy A. Ginger Aug. 29, 2008, in Jay County; he survives. She worked in housekeeping and was a motel manager for various local motels. She is a member of the Southern Wells High School Class of 1998 and attended Poneto Baptist Church. Additional survivors include her step-mother, Dinga Brinneman of Iowa; a sister, Amanda Coffield of Bluffton; two brothers, Donald (Melinda) Bertsch of Dunkirk and Michael Grover of Ohio; a step-brother, Jeff (Barb) Brinneman of Munice; and a step-sister, Lila (Rusty) Kaser of Coshocton, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Saturday, Oct. 5, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel with Alan Crull officiating. Calling hours are from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, and one hour prior to the service Saturday, all at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery in Poneto.
