Alma Pulley, 87, a longtime Poneto resident, passed away Thursday morning, August 13, 2015, at Markle Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Wells County, IN, on November 15, 1927, to James M. and Nova A. (Potter) Rush, she married Don O. Pulley in Geneva, IN, on Feb. 14, 1953; he preceded her in death on September 11, 2012. Alma had attended Liberty Center High School, and in 1988 retired from Franklin Electric, after 38 years of service. Survivors include one daughter, Sheila (Dean) Ullrich of Uniondale; two grandsons, Barry and Bret Martin, both of Bluffton; five great-grandchildren, Evan, Taylor, Jarrett, Aiden, and Bryce Martin; and a sister, Ethel Buse of Poneto. Aside from her parents and husband, Alma was preceded in death by a brother, Don Rush, and two sisters, Sylvia Leist and Ruth Rush. Visitation will be Sunday, August 16, 2015, from noon until 3:00 PM at Goodwin - Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Jerry Qualls officiating. Burial will be at Stahl Cemetery in Reiffsburg. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
