She was born Oct. 6, 1926, in Adams County to Adam Frauhiger and Esther Schaefer Frauhiger. She married Kenneth A. Bushee in Wells County July 1, 1950; he preceded her in death Feb. 10, 1989.

Ada assisted with the operation and running of the family farm and dairy for 30 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, Euchre and bunco. She attended Calvary Lutheran Church.


Survivors include three sons, David (Kayleen) Bushee of Ossian, Danny Bushee of Ossian, and Thomas (Linda) Bushee of Bluffton; two daughters, Judy (Roger) Felton of Ossian and Connie Benninghoff of Markle; two brothers, Bud (Esther) Frauhiger of Bluffton and Jerry Frauhiger of Bluffton; two sisters, Evelyn Felger of Fort Wayne and Mindy Steiner of Ft. Wayne, IN ,  six grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren and eight stepgrandchildren.

A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jerry O'Neal officiating.

Calling hours will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, and for one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Ossian.
