Aaron Kipfer Jr., age 85, of Bluffton, passed away Saturday evening, Dec. 15, 2018, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.

Aaron was born in Adams County, on July 22, 1933, to Aaron Sr. and Mary (Steffen) Kipfer. He married Sandra Jean Groh in Wells County on September 9, 1956. She preceded him in death on April 20, 2009. Aaron worked at Old First National Bank for 40 years as an Accountant. He graduated from Indiana Business College in Fort Wayne in 1956.

Aaron was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Bluffton. He served in the U.S Army, in Korea from 1953 – 1955. Aaron was a past member of the American Legion. He loved wood working, traveling and walking. His favorite saying was, "measure twice, cut once".

Survivors include, two sons, Floyd Aaron (Cindy) Kipfer of Bluffton and Tony Kipfer of Bluffton; a sister, Eunice Steffen of Bluffton; 5 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, a son, Rex Alan Kipfer; a brother, Joe Kipfer; a sister, Dorothy Schladenhauffen.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM, at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Funeral service will be Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018 at 10:00 AM, at the Bluffton North Apostolic Christian Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
